Taxation of Employment

As the competition for talent has grown more and more fierce, employers have being using a variety of benefits to attract employees.  Benefits and allowances received from employment are usually considered taxable benefits, with limited exemptions available.  With an increasingly global workforce, the tax implications for cross-border employees have also become very complex.

This lunch seminar aims to provide updates on the tax treatment of benefits and allowances, updates to the Regulation 102 waiver and Employer Certification program, and issues that arise at the end of an employment relationship.
