The Foundation publishes a broad selection of materials aimed at providing comprehensive analysis and commentary on current issues in both Canadian and international case law, tax policy, and finance. Many of the Foundation's publications are distributed without charge to our members as part of their annual membership. Our publications include the prestigious Canadian Tax Journal, conference proceedings, several newsletters, and books on various topics related to taxation that would be of interest to tax lawyers, accountants, economists, government and industry representatives, academics, and students.
Our annual Finances of the Nation provides a review of government revenues and expenditures at the federal, provincial, and local levels. The recently published textbooks, Tax Policy in Canada and Taxation of Private Corporations and Their Shareholders, offer introductory overviews, analysis, and practical information useful for students and practitioners. Our Tax Paper series covers more specialized topics that provide new research or insight into particular issues such as tax reform, municipal revenue and expenditure, and tax abuse.
