The Canadian Tax Foundation is pleased to announce that Julie Bouthillier is the winner of the 2003-4 Canadian Tax Foundation-Fasken Martineau DuMoulin award for Ontario for the best student paper submitted on matters affecting the Canadian tax system. Ms. Bouthillier wrote “Residence-Based Taxation and FAPI: A World of Fictions” for her international taxation course in the LLB program of Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, from which she graduated in 2004. She received her LL.L. from the University of Montreal in 2003. Ms. Bouthillier is currently completing the requirements of the Quebec bar and is working as a student at Paquette Gadler, s.e.n.c., a Montreal firm specializing in corporate law.
