While I don't speak for CTF I assume the logical reason for this method is that while the emails may only be going to members, there is nothing to stop someone from forwarding them to non-members and therefore giving them access to our paid benefits. I suggest that you get a Blackberry with the Password Protect app that stores all of your usernames and passwords.
