Congratulations to the recipients of the MTax award granted to the student who obtained the best grade average in a  Masters of Tax Program


 

Lindsay Turcotte

This award is presented to the student who achieves the highest grades overall in the Université de Sherbrooke ( MTax program).

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Sherbrooke in 2018, Lindsay entered her bar in the fall of 2018 and began a master's degree in taxation which she will complete in the spring of 2021. Now legal clerk at the Tax Court of Canada until August 2021, she deepens her knowledge of taxation while having the chance to work with competent and unique tax lawyers. She plans to join the tax planning group at McCarthy Tétrault in Montreal in September 2021. 



 

Anne-Sophie Théroux

This award is presented to the student who achieves the highest grades overall in the University of Montréal-HEC (MTax program).

Anne-Sophie Théroux is currently completing her master's degree in tax law (LL.M.) at HEC Montréal, where she has greatly distinguished herself in her academic career. She has been employed by the accounting firm EY since 2018 where she began her career in auditing and then pursued a career in corporate taxation. She is currently developing expertise in the financial institutions and public enterprises sector. In addition, she is a candidate for the CPA profession after having written and passed the CFE in September 2018. She is also involved in the preparation of future candidates for the CFE at HEC Montreal
 

About the Award

The Foundation grants this award to the students of the Master Tax program, with the best grade average. Congratulations to the recipients of the “best grade average in a masters of tax program award”
